A Growing Brand

Worksop Town Academy will enter the Nerf Junior Premier League for the 2022/23 football season following an incredibly successful first year in operation (see the Director’s Statement here). Over this period, the club has invested heavily in marketing and brand recognition both within the local community and on a national scale, having hosted the likes of Barnsley, Leicester City, Sheffield United, and Newcastle United in our football festivals during that period. With professionalism, commitment, and ambition at the heart of the Academy’s core values, we now welcome over 500 players and parents into our state-of-the-art facilities on a weekly basis across 17 programmes with ages ranging from 18 months to 18 years. Our ambition has been matched on social media, that with a typical monthly reach between 70 and 100,000.

A Pillar in the Local Community

As a programme within the local community, Worksop Town Academy first and foremost exists as a central hub for youth football in the Worksop area, and as such has been dedicated to supporting local grassroots and Sunday League programmes wherever and whenever possible - be that through free coach education sessions, development workshop sessions, or in tournaments and festivals, often against professional academy opposition. Our commitment to supporting the local community remains at the forefront of many of our programmes, running a handful of external courses and building partnerships with local schools. We offer these programmes to any gender or ability, with specialised sessions to cater for each specific need.

The Ideal Sponsorship Partner…

  • Will share the Academy’s core values of professionalism, ambition, and determination

  • Will either be locally run, locally based, or otherwise operate within or have a firm connection to Worksop and its surrounding area

  • Will have an interest in football and sport, especially for youth development

  • Will be a progressive business with a strong passion for and commitment to diversity, inclusivity, and involvement regardless of race, gender, sexuality or otherwise
